Dr. David Turner is the founder and clinic director of Impact Chiropractic, where he has been serving the Conway and greater Horry County community since January 2003. A Conway, SC native, Dr. Turner earned his Bachelor of Science from Coastal Carolina University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with clinical honors from National University of Health Sciences. He holds advanced certification in prenatal and pediatric care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (CCACP), making him the only chiropractor within a 90-mile radius to carry this distinction.
With over two decades of experience, Dr. Turner has led Impact Chiropractic’s transformation from a symptom-based clinic into a high-tech, neurologically focused family wellness center. His mission is simple yet powerful: to help individuals and families move from surviving to thriving through consistent, nervous system-based chiropractic care.
Dr. Turner is passionate about caring for children, pregnant moms, and growing families. He uses advanced diagnostic technology like the Insight Subluxation Station to assess how well the nervous system is functioning, and he creates personalized care plans that lead to long-lasting, life-changing results.
Beyond clinical care, Dr. Turner is a teacher at heart. He leads community workshops on topics like natural solutions for ADHD and anxiety, prenatal and birth education, and the neurological effects of stress in children and adults. His leadership at Impact is driven by core values: Results, Fun, High Tech, Education, and Community.
Outside of the office, Dr. Turner is a wellness enthusiast who enjoys surfing, strength training, sauna, and cold plunging. He’s also a proud husband and father to teenage twins. His favorite quote continues to guide his purpose:

Dr. Rob Mayfield, D.C.
Dr. Rob Mayfield brings over 16 years of clinical chiropractic experience to Impact Chiropractic, with a deep commitment to family wellness and community-centered care. Originally from Anderson, South Carolina, Dr. Rob earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Marine Science from the College of Charleston in 1994. His personal journey into chiropractic began in high school, when chronic sinus and allergy issues left him facing potential sinus surgery. After months of unresolved symptoms and repeated rounds of antibiotics, a close friend introduced him to chiropractic care. Within four months of consistent adjustments, his health drastically improved—an experience that would later inspire his professional calling.
Before pursuing chiropractic, Dr. Rob spent several years in the hospitality industry, where he developed a passion for serving others. In 2004, he shifted that passion toward healthcare and enrolled at Life University, graduating with honors in 2007.
